Privacy Policy

UVCODEX LLC ("UVCODEX", "we", "us", "our") operates the Deisy iOS application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data.

Deisy runs entirely on your device. All AI inference is performed locally using Apple's MLX framework. No conversations, prompts, model outputs, or usage data are transmitted to us.

Data Stored on Your Device

Deisy stores the following data locally on your device only, in the App's private sandbox:

  • Conversation history — your chat messages and model responses, stored via SwiftData
  • Downloaded model weights — AI model files cached in the App's documents directory
  • App preferences — selected model, system prompt, and display settings

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to iCloud, backed up to our servers, or accessible to us in any way.

Network Usage

The App makes network requests only in the following circumstance:

  • Model downloads — when you explicitly tap "Download" in the Catalog, the App connects to HuggingFace (huggingface.co) to download model weight files. This connection is made directly between your device and HuggingFace's servers. HuggingFace may log your IP address and request metadata in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.

No other outbound network requests are made.

Third-Party Services

Deisy does not integrate any of the following:

  • Analytics or crash reporting SDKs
  • Advertising or tracking networks
  • Social login or identity providers
  • Cloud-based AI inference APIs

Apple App Store

Deisy is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect certain information in connection with your App Store account, purchases, and app usage as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This information is governed by Apple's policy, not ours.

Children's Privacy

Deisy is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

California Residents (CCPA)

We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. Because we collect no personal information, no opt-out is required or available.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through an App Store update notice. We will not retroactively reduce your rights under this policy without explicit consent.
